The modern world runs on software which in turn is grounded in logic. As fundamental as logic is to all software, logic is not a fait accompli. In the emerging age of AI, it is more critical than ever to understand or at least acknowledge our dependence on logic.
January 14th is World Logic Day which we will honor with an informal gathering in the Somerville Conference Room 14th Floor of One Broadway from 12:30 – 1:30. Feel free to bring a lunch. We will give a short informal talk on the importance of logic to modern info tech and provide a venue for folks to share their ‘logic’ stories.
